A machine shop is not a place for guesswork. Every cut, every tolerance, every finish has to be precise. And behind that precision is a supervisor who knows the machines, knows the team, and knows how to keep production moving without compromising on quality. Parker Connect, a Dubai-based recruitment and management consultancy established in 2011, is looking for a Workshop Supervisor for a machine shop in JAFZA. This is a role for someone with hands-on machining experience who can lead a team, plan production, and ensure that every job meets the required standard .

This is a role for someone with at least five years of workshop or manufacturing experience, including team supervision. You will oversee daily operations in the machine shop, supervising machinists and technicians working on milling, turning, grinding, and other machining processes. You will plan production schedules, prioritize jobs, and allocate manpower effectively to meet deadlines. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, ensure that work is carried out within specified tolerances, and use precision measuring instruments to verify quality. You will also maintain safety standards, coordinate with other departments, and support the team in resolving technical issues on the shop floor. If you are a hands-on leader who understands both the technical and the human side of running a machine shop, this role will suit you.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in machining, milling, turning or lathe operations, and grinding. You have proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. You have good knowledge of quality inspection and precision measuring instruments. Experience in Oil and Gas or similar industrial sectors is preferred. You communicate effectively in English and have a strong commitment to safety.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in JAFZA, Dubai. The salary range is AED 6,500 to AED 7,000 per month, depending on experience.
