Role Overview: The Territory Sales Representative role is a strategic field-based position focused on expanding the reach and impact of Dentsply Sirona implant solutions. This role requires a strong commercial mindset combined with clinical understanding to effectively engage dental professionals and build long-term partnerships. The representative acts as a trusted advisor who supports clinicians in improving patient outcomes through innovative dental technologies.
Territory and Market Development: This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and maximizing sales potential within an assigned territory. The representative executes structured territory business plans to capture market opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and achieve revenue objectives while maintaining consistent market coverage and account prioritization.
Customer Engagement and Influence: The role involves working closely with dental clinicians, dealers, dental schools, and group practices to generate demand for implant products. Through professional interactions and consultative selling, the representative influences purchasing decisions by clearly communicating clinical value, workflow benefits, and long-term business advantages.
Product Expertise and Training: Acting as a product expert, the Territory Sales Representative delivers in-depth product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational support to customers and dealer teams. This role ensures that stakeholders fully understand implant systems, clinical applications, and best practices to drive confident product adoption.
Sales Meetings and Collaboration: The representative coordinates and supports sales meetings, workshops, and customer events in collaboration with dealers and internal teams. Working closely with Marketing and Clinical Educators ensures alignment with promotional strategies, professional education initiatives, and key opinion leader engagements.
Market Intelligence and CRM Management: Monitoring competitor activities and market trends is a critical part of this role. The representative maintains accurate records within the CRM system, tracks sales activities, and provides insights that support forecasting, strategic planning, and continuous improvement across the sales organization.
