Role Overview: The Teacher of Science at Al Jazeera Academy will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that ignite students’ curiosity about the natural world. You will guide learners through scientific concepts, theories, and experiments, encouraging them to think critically, ask questions, and explore solutions to real-world problems. This role demands a balance between strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire enthusiasm for Science.

Key Responsibilities: You will plan and teach lessons across various branches of Science, such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, according to the school’s curriculum. Responsibilities include preparing teaching resources, assessing student performance, and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs. You will also prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations, ensuring they have both the knowledge and practical skills to succeed.

Curriculum Delivery: You will deliver lessons that blend theoretical knowledge with hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning. Incorporating laboratory work, demonstrations, and technology-enhanced learning will be key to maintaining student engagement. Your teaching will emphasize the application of scientific principles in everyday life, making Science relevant and accessible to all learners.

Student Development: Beyond academic content, you will encourage students to develop problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and a methodical approach to challenges. Organizing Science clubs, fairs, and competitions will help cultivate a deeper interest in STEM fields. You will also mentor students in independent projects, encouraging research and innovation.

Collaboration & Communication: You will work closely with colleagues in other departments to design interdisciplinary projects that connect Science to subjects like Mathematics, Geography, and Technology.
