Role Overview: The Teacher of Maths at Al Jazeera Academy will be responsible for inspiring a love of numbers, logical thinking, and problem-solving among students. You will design engaging and challenging lessons that develop students’ mathematical skills, from foundational concepts to advanced applications, ensuring they are prepared for academic success and real-world problem solving.

Key Responsibilities: You will plan and deliver lessons that align with the school’s curriculum while catering to various learning styles and abilities. This will involve preparing lesson materials, conducting assessments, and providing detailed feedback to help students improve. You will also prepare students for examinations, ensuring they have the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to excel.

Curriculum Delivery: Your teaching will cover a range of mathematical topics including algebra, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, and calculus, depending on grade level. You will incorporate interactive tools, real-life examples, and technology-based resources to make mathematics more relatable and engaging for students.

Student Development: The role extends beyond delivering mathematical content — you will nurture analytical thinking, precision, and perseverance in problem-solving. Encouraging teamwork through group problem-solving activities, math clubs, and competitions will help students develop both academic and collaborative skills.

Collaboration & Communication: You will collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects linking mathematics with science, technology, and economics. Maintaining regular communication with parents will be vital to keep them informed of their child’s progress and ways they can support learning at home. Participation in school events, competitions, and workshops will be encouraged.
