Position Overview: As a Teacher of ICT & Computer Science at Al Jazeera Academy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students’ understanding of technology, digital literacy, and computational thinking. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the modern digital world.

Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality ICT and Computer Science lessons to students of various age groups, ensuring lessons are interactive, practical, and relevant to real-world applications. This includes planning and preparing lesson materials, integrating innovative teaching techniques, and assessing student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.

Curriculum Development: You will contribute to the enhancement of the school’s ICT curriculum by incorporating current industry trends, coding practices, and digital tools. This involves regularly updating teaching resources, introducing new software or programming languages, and embedding cybersecurity awareness into your lessons.

Student Engagement: Encouraging active participation in class through hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and problem-solving exercises will be a key part of your role. You will also mentor students in developing digital creativity, computational problem-solving, and independent research skills to prepare them for higher education and future careers.

Assessment & Feedback: You will be responsible for evaluating student work, providing constructive feedback, and tracking their academic progress. Your assessments will focus not only on technical proficiency but also on creativity, logical reasoning, and collaborative skills.

Collaboration with Staff: You will work closely with other teachers, department heads, and administrative staff to ensure smooth curriculum delivery. This includes participating in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and collaborative planning sessions to enhance the overall quality of ICT education at the academy.
