Role Overview: Falghanim is seeking an organized and responsible Storekeeper – Construction Projects to manage material storage, inventory control, and warehouse activities at construction project sites in Dubai. The role involves receiving and issuing construction materials, maintaining stock records, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating material requests, and ensuring proper storage and handling of supplies. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.

Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor and maintain accurate records of construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents. Record all stock movements, including material receipts, issues, returns, and transfers. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with physical inventory counts. Identify low-stock items and inform the relevant team to arrange replenishment.

Material Receiving and Issuing: Verify the quantity and condition of materials delivered to the project site. Prepare material receiving reports and maintain supporting documentation. Issue materials to authorized employees and site teams according to approved requests. Maintain records of material requisitions, delivery notes, and issue vouchers. Follow up on pending deliveries and report shortages or damaged materials.

Warehouse and Storage Management: Organize materials systematically to ensure easy identification and accessibility. Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials and equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store or warehouse area. Separate damaged, expired, or unusable materials and report them to management. Follow appropriate storage procedures to minimize material loss and damage.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate inventory registers and stock control records. Update stock information using spreadsheets or inventory management systems. Prepare daily or periodic stock reports as required. Maintain organized records of purchase orders, delivery notes, and material requests. Report inventory discrepancies and unusual stock movements to the supervisor.

Project and Team Coordination: Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, procurement teams, and warehouse personnel. Ensure materials are available according to project requirements and work schedules. Follow up on material requests to support uninterrupted construction activities. Assist with monitoring material consumption and identifying wastage. Support internal stock audits and inventory verification activities.

Essential Skills: Strong organizational and inventory management skills. Good numerical and recordkeeping abilities. Attention to detail when receiving, issuing, and documenting materials. Basic computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel. Ability to coordinate with site teams and manage multiple material requests. Responsible approach to material handling and warehouse organization.

Preferred Skills: Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment. Knowledge of stock control and warehouse management procedures. Experience using inventory management or ERP systems. Understanding of delivery documentation, purchase orders, and material requisitions. Awareness of basic warehouse safety and storage practices.
