Job Overview: Lumber World LLC is seeking a responsible and well-organized Storekeeper to oversee warehouse operations and inventory management in the building materials sector. The ideal candidate will have experience working with timber, hardware, and ironmongery items and will be able to manage warehouse tasks efficiently while complying with safety and company standards.

Inventory Management: You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials. This includes maintaining accurate stock records, conducting physical inventory counts, and ensuring the security and proper storage of all goods.

Industry Expertise: Experience in the building materials industry is preferred, especially with timber, hardware, and ironmongeries. Familiarity with handling such inventory will help ensure proper storage and reduce material wastage or damage.

Software Knowledge: The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with warehouse management systems, particularly SAP B1, will be considered a strong advantage.

Leadership & Organization: As a Storekeeper, you will lead day-to-day store operations, organize workflows, delegate tasks when necessary, and ensure that all processes are carried out effectively. Good organizational skills are essential for managing storage layout and ensuring smooth inventory movement.

Attention to Detail: You must be detail-oriented to monitor stock levels, manage reorder levels, and identify any discrepancies in inventory data. The role demands accuracy in reporting, labeling, and documentation to maintain inventory control.

Compliance & Safety: The position requires a strong understanding of warehouse safety and compliance procedures. Ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed is an essential aspect of this role.
