Job Description
Role Overview: The Senior Officer, Lending Operation – Cards will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational processes for card-related banking products. This role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured workflows. The officer will act as a bridge between the operations team and senior management, maintaining high standards in document validation, reporting, and process compliance.
Document Verification and Compliance: You will validate and perfect customer documents against product policies and checklists, ensuring adherence to both manual and digital workflows. Strict compliance with the bank’s operational policies is essential, including safeguarding sensitive customer information and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Application Processing and Workflow Management: The officer will manage the submission of applications within specified time frames, ensuring all tasks are completed according to workflow deadlines. Daily, weekly, and monthly trackers will be maintained to monitor progress, streamline operations, and provide transparency to senior management.
Stakeholder Communication and Coordination: You will interact with internal stakeholders and departments to ensure smooth operational processes. Regular follow-ups and proactive communication are essential to resolve administrative and operational requirements efficiently, maintaining strong professional relationships throughout the organization.
Monitoring and Reporting: The officer will be responsible for identifying and reporting any fraudulent activities related to lending operations. Timely reporting, rigorous follow-ups, and compliance with management instructions will ensure the integrity of all transactions and workflows.
Operational Excellence and SOP Adherence: You will perform duties in line with unit SOP standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment while practicing effective time management. You are expected to take on additional responsibilities assigned by management to support the business as required.
