Logis Careers, a recruitment agency specializing in the logistics and supply chain sector, is looking for a Senior Accountant on behalf of a client in Dubai. This is a role for an experienced accounting professional who understands the financial rhythms of freight forwarding and can keep the numbers accurate, the cash flow healthy, and the clients satisfied.

This is a role for someone with three to five years of experience in accounting within the logistics or freight forwarding industry. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, handle payment follow-ups, and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. You will prepare financial reports, reconcile bank statements, and maintain the general ledger. Strong Excel skills are essential, as you will be working with large datasets and preparing detailed reports for management. You will also coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve payment issues and ensure that the company's cash flow remains stable. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment, this role will suit you.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with three to five years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding accounting. You have strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable, payment follow-ups, and financial reporting. You are proficient in MS Excel and accounting software. You communicate effectively in English and are able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Oud Metha, Dubai. The salary range is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
