Job Description
Role Overview – Amari Management is hiring a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with strong financial expertise, property management and real estate industry knowledge, and the ability to manage accounting operations effectively, oversee financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, provide financial analysis, manage budgets, and contribute to organizational financial success within a dynamic property management and services organization.
Financial Statement Preparation and Reporting – You will oversee preparation of comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with IFRS standards and UAE regulatory requirements. You will ensure statements are accurate, complete, and prepared within required timeframes for management review, stakeholder reporting, and regulatory submission with appropriate disclosures supporting informed decision-making.
General Ledger Management and Control – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions, ensuring accurate account classification, and overseeing monthly reconciliation processes. You will verify transaction postings, investigate discrepancies, supervise accounting staff, and ensure the general ledger balances with supporting documentation and audit requirements.
Property Client Accounting and Management – You will manage accounting for property clients by maintaining separate accounting records, processing client receipts and expenses, and preparing client financial reports. You will ensure proper segregation of client funds, maintain accurate client accounting, and support client satisfaction through clear financial reporting. You should understand property management accounting requirements.
Rental Income and Property Revenue Management – You will manage property rental income by recording rental payments, processing invoices, maintaining tenant accounts, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition. You will track rental income by property, reconcile collections, and support accurate property revenue accounting. You should manage property-based revenue effectively.
Property Expense and Maintenance Accounting – You will manage property-related expenses by processing supplier invoices, tracking maintenance costs, and recording property expenditures. You will allocate expenses properly between properties, maintain vendor records, and support cost control. You will maintain accurate expense records and manage property costs.
Accounts Receivable Management – You will manage accounts receivable by processing invoices, recording payments, and maintaining client account records. You will follow up on outstanding amounts, prepare aging reports, and implement collection strategies. You will maintain accurate receivable records and optimize cash collection.
