Full Accounting Cycle Management – The Senior Accountant will manage the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and month-end and year-end closing processes. Accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting are essential.

Team Supervision – This role involves supervising a junior accountant or finance assistant, providing guidance on tasks, reviewing work for accuracy, and supporting their professional development while maintaining accountability for team performance.

Financial Reporting and Analysis – Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analyzing variances, and providing insights for management decision-making are key responsibilities. The accountant ensures compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.

Compliance and Regulatory Requirements – Ensuring adherence to UAE VAT regulations, corporate reporting requirements, and internal policies is critical. The Senior Accountant will monitor compliance and implement best practices to mitigate financial risks.

Budgeting and Forecasting Support – The role includes assisting with budget preparation, cost tracking, and financial forecasts. Providing analytical support to management for planning and financial strategy is a core component of the position.

Internal Controls and Audit Support – Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data is required. The Senior Accountant will also support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and explanations of financial processes.
