Role Overview: English Today Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and experienced School Counsellor to join the supportive environment of an International School in Fujairah, UAE. You will play a crucial role in fostering the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our diverse student population.

Providing Comprehensive Counselling Services: As a School Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing individual and group counselling services to students, addressing a wide range of personal, social, emotional, and academic concerns to support their overall development.

Developing Preventative Programs: You will proactively develop and implement preventative programs and workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness, social skills, and positive coping mechanisms among students and the wider school community.

Collaborating with Stakeholders: You will work closely with teachers, parents, school administrators, and external agencies to identify student needs, develop effective support plans, and ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to student well-being.

Crisis Intervention and Support: You will be prepared to provide timely and effective crisis intervention and support to students experiencing challenging situations, ensuring their safety and connecting them with appropriate resources as needed.

Support for International Professionals: For qualified School Counsellors joining us from overseas, the school offers comprehensive support including visa processing, provided air travel, healthcare benefits, and airport transfer services upon arrival in the UAE. A housing rent allowance will be included in the salary package.
