Detail Talent is recruiting on behalf of an international engineering consultancy to appoint an experienced Risk Coordinator for a long-term Public Works Authority (Ashghal) program in Qatar. This position is tailored for a seasoned risk specialist residing in Qatar who possesses extensive hands-on experience navigating Ashghal risk frameworks and consultancy oversight.

The core responsibilities of this position focus on establishing, facilitating, and maintaining project risk management processes across Ashghal infrastructure developments. Daily activities include facilitating risk identification workshops, maintaining project risk registers, assessing risk probability and impacts, and tracking quantitative and qualitative risk responses. The Risk Coordinator will monitor risk treatment action plans, compile regular risk exposure dashboards, coordinate with project managers and technical discipline leads, evaluate schedule and cost risk modeling inputs, and ensure full compliance with Ashghal risk management standards and reporting protocols.

Candidates applying for this role must demonstrate 14 or more years of post-qualification experience in project risk management, controls, or engineering coordination within the infrastructure or construction sector. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is mandatory. Direct prior experience working on Ashghal projects within an engineering consultancy environment is strictly required.
