Role Overview – Emirates NBD is pleased to announce an excellent opportunity to join our accomplished Retail Banking team in Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a Retail Banking Officer/Executive with a minimum of 2 years of successful banking sales experience in the UAE and core expertise in personal loans to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Sales Target Achievement – You will excel at achieving monthly sales targets across Personal Loans, current and savings accounts, and credit cards. You will generate leads through various channels, convert prospects into customers, meet individual sales quotas, contribute to branch targets, maximize revenue opportunities, track sales performance, and demonstrate consistent achievement of monthly objectives across all product categories.
Personal Loans Sales Excellence – You will leverage your core experience in personal loans to drive loan sales, assess customer eligibility, explain loan products and terms, process loan applications, recommend appropriate loan structures, meet documentation requirements, facilitate loan approvals, cross-sell complementary products, and achieve personal loan sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Credit Card Sales and Promotion – You will promote and sell credit cards by identifying customer needs, explaining card features and benefits, processing credit card applications, recommending suitable card products, meeting credit card sales targets, supporting card activation and usage, and building the credit card customer base through effective sales techniques.
Account Opening and Customer Onboarding – You will open current and savings accounts for new customers, explain account features and benefits, process account opening documentation, ensure KYC compliance, facilitate smooth onboarding, activate banking services, educate customers on digital banking channels, and create positive first banking experiences that support customer retention.
Internal Protocol Compliance – You will navigate internal protocols with precision, ensure adherence to bank guidelines and policies, follow established procedures for product sales, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, complete documentation accurately, obtain necessary approvals, implement risk controls, and uphold the bank's operational standards in all customer interactions.
Customer Relationship Management – You will foster consistent customer satisfaction through dedicated engagement, understand customer financial needs, provide personalized banking solutions, address customer inquiries and concerns, resolve service issues promptly, maintain regular customer contact, build long-term relationships, and ensure customers receive professional and responsive service.
Product Knowledge and Advisory – You will maintain comprehensive knowledge of all retail banking products including personal loans, accounts, credit cards, savings plans, and digital banking services. You will provide expert advice, recommend suitable products based on customer profiles, explain terms and conditions clearly, and position Emirates NBD products competitively.
Cross-Selling and Upselling – You will identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing customer base, introduce additional banking products, maximize customer wallet share, bundle products effectively, enhance customer value, increase per-customer revenue, and achieve cross-sell targets through consultative selling approaches.
Documentation and Processing – You will ensure accurate and complete documentation for all transactions, process applications efficiently, verify customer information, obtain required signatures and approvals, maintain proper records, coordinate with operations and credit teams, follow up on pending applications, and ensure timely processing of customer requests.
Digital Banking Promotion – You will promote digital banking channels including mobile banking, internet banking, and self-service kiosks, educate customers on digital features, encourage digital adoption, demonstrate digital banking functionalities, support digital onboarding, and help customers transition to convenient digital banking solutions.
Sales Reporting and Performance Tracking – You will maintain accurate sales records, update CRM systems, track individual performance metrics, prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, identify areas for improvement, participate in sales meetings, and provide transparent reporting on sales activities and achievements.
Branch Support and Team Collaboration – You will support branch operations, collaborate with colleagues to achieve branch targets, share best practices, participate in sales campaigns and promotions, contribute to positive team environment, coordinate with support functions, and work collectively toward branch success.
