Job Description
Role Overview – The Restaurant Cashier will manage all financial transactions at the restaurant while ensuring exceptional guest service. This role focuses on handling payments efficiently, supporting front-of-house operations, and maintaining a smooth workflow during high-volume periods.
Point-of-Sale Management – You will operate POS systems including Micros and Oracle to process customer payments accurately. The role requires attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure proper cash handling and reconciliation at the end of each shift.
Guest Service Excellence – Delivering outstanding service is a core responsibility. The Restaurant Cashier engages with guests professionally, answers inquiries, resolves payment issues, and contributes to a positive dining experience for all patrons.
Language and Communication Skills – Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in additional languages is highly advantageous. Strong verbal communication ensures smooth interactions with customers and coordination with restaurant staff.
High-End Establishment Experience – Prior experience in a similar role at premium restaurants or high-end establishments is required. You will be expected to uphold professional standards and maintain the company’s reputation for excellence in service.
Operational Support – In addition to cashier duties, the role may involve supporting front-of-house operations, assisting servers during peak hours, and ensuring that all cash handling procedures comply with company policies and financial regulations.
