Job Overview: The Receptionist cum Patient Coordinator will be the first point of contact for patients at Physioveda Medical Center, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role requires an individual who can manage front-desk operations efficiently while delivering outstanding patient service. You will play a vital part in supporting daily clinic functions, from handling inquiries to ensuring a smooth and organized patient flow.
Front Desk Management: As the face of the medical center, you will greet patients warmly, manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and guide patients through registration and appointment scheduling. A courteous and composed demeanor is essential to represent the clinic’s professional image and build patient trust.
Patient Coordination: The role involves coordinating patient appointments, confirming schedules, and ensuring doctors’ availability aligns with patient needs. You will manage reminders, cancellations, and follow-ups while maintaining detailed records to guarantee a seamless experience for every patient visiting the clinic.
Administrative Support: You will handle administrative tasks such as maintaining patient files, updating medical records, processing documentation, and supporting the billing department when needed. Your attention to detail will help maintain operational accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Communication and Medical Terminology: Effective communication is a key aspect of this role. You will interact with patients, physicians, and medical staff daily, requiring clear communication and accurate use of medical terminology. Your ability to explain procedures and guide patients calmly will contribute to a positive healthcare experience.
Team Collaboration and Workflow: Working closely with the clinical and administrative teams, you will help optimize patient flow and manage time slots efficiently. By maintaining coordination between departments, you’ll ensure that appointments, procedures, and consultations run smoothly and on schedule.
