Job Description

Receptionist Role: The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every visitor receives a warm welcome and a seamless check-in experience. This role is crucial to maintaining the high hospitality standards of Royal Continental Hotels and delivering a positive first impression.

Guest Relations: The role requires handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, and providing accurate information about hotel services and facilities. Building strong rapport with guests, addressing their concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay are key responsibilities.

Front Desk Operations: The Receptionist will manage daily front office duties, including check-in, check-out, billing, and room assignments. Accuracy in maintaining records, processing payments, and updating guest profiles is essential to maintaining smooth hotel operations.

Communication & Coordination: This role involves effective communication with different departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest requests are fulfilled quickly. Clear and professional interaction with colleagues supports efficient operations and a high level of service.

Problem-Solving: The candidate will be expected to resolve guest complaints with patience and professionalism. Quick decision-making, empathy, and a customer-first approach are vital in maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

Work Environment: As a front-facing role, the Receptionist should demonstrate a polished appearance, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is a requirement in the dynamic hospitality environment.
