Job Description
Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor at GCC Contracting LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial and contractual success of construction projects. You will be responsible for controlling costs, managing budgets, and providing accurate estimations to support efficient project execution from inception to completion.
Cost Estimation and Budgeting: You will prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents. This role requires accuracy and strong analytical ability to forecast budgets, minimize costs, and maximize value for money while meeting project objectives.
Contract and Procurement Management: You will assist in evaluating tenders, negotiating contracts, and procuring materials and subcontractors. A Quantity Surveyor ensures all contracts are aligned with project goals, legal requirements, and company standards.
Project Monitoring and Reporting: This role involves closely monitoring ongoing construction activities, assessing progress, and preparing financial and project reports. You will work alongside project managers to ensure that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are adhered to.
Risk Management and Compliance: You will identify potential financial risks and propose strategies to mitigate them. Ensuring compliance with building codes, industry standards, and UAE regulations will form a vital part of your responsibilities.
Team Collaboration and Support: The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to align project objectives with cost control measures.
