Job Description
Project Planning and Scheduling – ✦ The Planner is responsible for developing accurate and achievable project timelines for joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, ensuring all activities are aligned with contractual milestones and internal delivery commitments.
Manufacturing and Production Coordination – ✦ You will work closely with manufacturing teams to align production capacity with project requirements, ensuring workflows are balanced and schedules support efficient fabrication and assembly processes.
Interdepartmental Collaboration – ✦ The role requires continuous coordination with Setting-Out, Procurement, and Logistics departments to confirm material availability, sequencing requirements, and delivery timelines to avoid delays or disruptions.
Critical Path and Risk Management – ✦ You will identify critical path activities and potential scheduling risks, proactively recommending mitigation strategies to maintain progress and minimize the impact of production or supply chain challenges.
Baseline Schedule Development – ✦ The Planner supports the creation and maintenance of baseline schedules, progress dashboards, and reporting tools that provide clear visibility of project status to internal stakeholders and management.
Communication and Stakeholder Alignment – ✦ You will facilitate clear communication between project teams, management, and external stakeholders by managing planning correspondence and resolving coordination issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Process Improvement and Efficiency – ✦ The role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing planning workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting the implementation of systems and processes that enhance productivity and output.
