Job Description
Role Overview: The MEP Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the timely availability of materials for ongoing MEP projects. You will maintain organized records and oversee the inflow and outflow of equipment and tools.
Inventory Management: Oversee daily inventory operations including receiving, storing, and issuing MEP materials. Ensure that the physical stock matches system entries at all times.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain stock registers, material delivery notes, and issue slips. Submit regular inventory reports to the project and procurement teams.
Material Coordination: Liaise with procurement officers and site engineers to ensure timely and correct material delivery based on site requirements.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area. Ensure materials are stored based on type, priority, and safety guidelines.
Loss Prevention: Monitor stock movement and identify discrepancies or potential theft/losses. Implement controls to prevent material wastage and misuse.
