Job Overview: As a Mechanical & Electrical Draftsman, you will be responsible for preparing highly accurate technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for building projects in Abu Dhabi. This role requires excellent knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems, along with the ability to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities: Your day-to-day duties will include drafting mechanical and electrical designs for various building projects, modifying layouts based on project needs, and ensuring compliance with local building codes. You will work with CAD software to prepare detailed construction drawings that will guide on-site teams and contractors during project execution.

Technical Expertise: In this role, you will focus on producing high-quality drafts that integrate HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems. The job requires close attention to detail, as even the smallest error in a drawing can impact construction timelines. You will also support the design review process and provide technical input for project development.

Collaboration & Communication: Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and project consultants. You will attend coordination meetings, review design adjustments, and maintain regular communication to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project requirements.

Quality & Compliance: A core part of your responsibility will be to maintain quality standards in all drawings and ensure compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards, and international drafting practices. You will also prepare as-built drawings after project completion, ensuring accuracy for future reference.
