Role Overview The Logistics Officer plays a vital role in managing and coordinating logistics operations that support ongoing projects across multiple locations. This position focuses on ensuring smooth logistical flow, aligning operational planning with project goals, and maintaining efficiency across all logistics-related activities while supporting organizational objectives.
Core Responsibilities The role involves managing daily logistics functions, coordinating inbound and outbound materials, and ensuring proper scheduling of supplies and resources. The Logistics Officer works closely with internal departments and external partners to maintain uninterrupted project execution and operational consistency.
Project Coordination This position requires hands-on involvement in project site preparation, logistics planning, and execution monitoring. The Logistics Officer ensures that materials, manpower, and transportation arrangements are aligned with project timelines and site requirements to support timely project delivery.
Operational Planning The Logistics Officer is responsible for creating detailed logistics plans and schedules, including material movement, equipment allocation, vehicle deployment, and workforce coordination. Strong planning and organizational skills are essential to manage overlapping priorities and strict deadlines.
Team and Vendor Management The role includes coordinating with staff, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
