Job Description

Shipment Coordination: The Logistics Coordinator will oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that deliveries and dispatches are carried out efficiently. This includes monitoring timelines and tracking shipments to prevent delays and maintain a smooth supply chain.

Supplier and Vendor Management: The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, transport providers, and vendors to coordinate schedules, confirm delivery timelines, and resolve any logistical challenges. Building strong professional relationships is key to ensuring seamless operations.

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all shipments, inventory, and logistics processes is essential. The candidate will manage documentation such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork to support internal reporting and compliance requirements.

Route and Cost Optimization: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for optimizing transportation routes and costs, analyzing delivery efficiency, and recommending improvements to ensure operational cost-effectiveness while meeting business objectives.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: The candidate will troubleshoot any shipping or delivery issues, proactively identifying potential disruptions and implementing solutions to maintain smooth logistics operations. Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential.

Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements is a critical responsibility. The Logistics Coordinator must stay updated on industry regulations and internal compliance standards, guaranteeing a safe and compliant logistics environment.
