Job Description
Overview of Role: The Logistics Coordinator at Silver Line in Dubai will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations for the company’s food manufacturing processes. This includes overseeing the timely receipt of raw materials, shipment of finished goods, and maintaining smooth communication between suppliers, carriers, internal teams, and customers. The role demands strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to solving logistics challenges.
Key Responsibilities: The coordinator will liaise with suppliers, carriers, 3PL providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely shipments. The role requires monitoring daily logistics activities, addressing delays or damages, and resolving any discrepancies in documentation to ensure seamless operations across the supply chain.
Inventory and Documentation Management: The Logistics Coordinator will maintain accurate inventory records, shipping logs, bills of lading, and all compliance-related documentation. Attention to detail is crucial to prevent discrepancies, ensure proper reporting, and support regulatory requirements.
Issue Resolution and Problem Solving: This role requires tracking and resolving any issues related to delayed shipments, damaged goods, or documentation errors. The coordinator will act as the first point of contact for resolving operational challenges and will coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions promptly.
Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement: The coordinator will analyse logistics data to identify trends, optimize costs, and implement process improvements. The role supports operational efficiency by recommending improvements, enhancing supply chain performance, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Customer and Stakeholder Communication: The Logistics Coordinator serves as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding order status and logistics updates. They will maintain professional communication with clients and internal teams to ensure high levels of satisfaction and timely information sharing.
