Role Overview: Dorsch Global is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to support a Dubai Municipality project in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate land and site surveys, establishing survey control points, collecting field measurements, and preparing survey data for project planning and execution. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with engineering and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities Land and Site Surveying: Conduct land, topographic, and construction surveys to establish accurate site measurements. Perform field measurements to determine boundaries, elevations, levels, and coordinates. Establish and maintain survey control points and reference benchmarks. Monitor site conditions and verify measurements against approved project drawings.

Survey Equipment and Technical Operations: Operate surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and Auto Levels. Ensure surveying equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. Use appropriate surveying methods to collect reliable field data. Interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and technical specifications.

Data Processing and Reporting: Process and analyze survey data to prepare accurate survey reports. Prepare topographic surveys, setting-out records, and as-built survey documentation. Maintain organized records of field measurements and survey activities. Identify measurement discrepancies and report technical issues to the relevant team.

Project Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate with civil engineers, site supervisors, contractors, and project consultants. Provide setting-out support for construction and infrastructure activities. Verify that survey work follows approved project requirements and applicable standards. Assist project teams in resolving site measurement and alignment issues.

Requirements Essential Skills: Relevant experience working as a Land Surveyor on construction or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of land surveying, site measurements, and setting-out procedures. Practical experience using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and Auto Levels. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and survey plans. Knowledge of topographic surveying, levelling, and coordinate systems. Good technical reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills: Experience working on projects involving Dubai Municipality requirements. Familiarity with as-built surveys and construction setting-out activities. Knowledge of surveying software and data-processing tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
