Job Overview: As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and service areas. Your contribution behind the scenes will directly impact the efficiency and success of kitchen operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, organized, and committed to maintaining high sanitary standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities: The main responsibilities of a kitchen steward include washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using both manual and automatic methods. You will also be responsible for cleaning kitchen floors, surfaces, and equipment, ensuring the workspace is always safe and sanitary. Proper garbage disposal, stocking cleaning supplies, and assisting with basic food preparation may also be part of your duties.

Team Collaboration: Kitchen stewards work closely with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations. Clear communication, respect for roles, and a team-first attitude are essential. Your willingness to support your colleagues will be key in helping the kitchen function smoothly during peak service times.

Cleanliness & Safety Standards: A major part of your role involves adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times. This includes wearing appropriate protective gear, using cleaning chemicals safely, and following hygiene regulations set by the health authorities. Your work will directly affect the overall cleanliness and safety of the food served.
