Every construction project starts long before the first brick is laid. It starts with the right materials, ordered at the right time, from the right suppliers, at the right price. SSA Ltd, a British construction company operating in Dubai, is looking for a Junior Procurement Officer who understands that procurement is not just about placing orders. It is about keeping projects moving and budgets intact.

This is a role for someone with at least two years of UAE experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or fit-out sector. You will support the procurement team in sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, comparing supplier offers, and preparing purchase orders. You will coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, track orders, and maintain accurate procurement records. You will also assist with vendor management, resolve delivery issues, and ensure that all purchases comply with project requirements and company policies. If you are organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple suppliers and deadlines, this role will suit you.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of procurement experience in the UAE, with a good understanding of construction materials and supplier coordination. You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and have strong communication and negotiation skills. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities without losing track of details. Immediate availability is preferred.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The salary is up to AED 6,000 per month.
