Job Description
Accurate Inventory Management: The Inventory Data Entry Clerk will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely entry of all stock-related transactions, including receipts, transfers, and consumption. The candidate will maintain updated records to support smooth operational workflow and reliable reporting across multiple bakery outlets.
Stock Monitoring and Oversight: The role requires actively tracking daily stock levels, monitoring item movements, and assisting in identifying slow-moving, missing, or expired items. The clerk will work closely with operational teams to support timely follow-ups and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: The Inventory Data Entry Clerk will handle collection, verification, and filing of stock counts, invoices, transfers, wastage, and consumption reports. Ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed will be key to maintaining audit readiness and operational transparency.
Coordination with Teams: The role involves regular interaction with warehouse and store teams, outlet in-charges, Executive Chef, and Operations Managers to verify stock movements and resolve discrepancies. Collaboration with purchasing and accounts departments will also be necessary for clarifying inventory data.
Stock Audits and Reconciliation: Supporting monthly and annual stock counts will be an essential responsibility. The clerk will reconcile physical inventory with system records, report discrepancies, and assist management in implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize loss.
Reporting and Analysis: The candidate will prepare and submit various inventory reports, including variance, damage, and consumption reports, as instructed by the Inventory Controller. The role demands attention to detail, timely reporting, and strong analytical skills to interpret inventory trends and identify improvement areas.
