Job Description

Role Overview – Al Ghandi Group Enterprises is hiring an Inventory Controller to join our Sales team in Dubai. This position serves as an administrative support function focusing on efficient management of the vehicle supply chain and ensuring smooth progression of the Sales Cycle. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role is ideal for experienced automotive industry professionals with strong coordination and communication abilities.

Vehicle Supply Chain Management – You will manage the vehicle supply chain efficiently, coordinate vehicle inventory movements, track vehicle arrivals and departures, monitor stock levels across locations, ensure optimal inventory positioning, coordinate with suppliers and transport providers, manage vehicle allocation processes, and ensure seamless flow of vehicles through the supply chain to support sales operations.

Inventory Control and Monitoring – You will maintain accurate inventory records for all vehicles, conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile system data with actual inventory, track vehicle identification details including VIN numbers and specifications, monitor aging inventory, identify slow-moving stock, implement inventory control procedures, and ensure data accuracy across inventory management systems.

Sales Cycle Support – You will support the sales team by ensuring vehicle availability for customer deliveries, coordinate vehicle preparation activities, track vehicle status from arrival to delivery, process vehicle allocation requests, prioritize inventory based on sales demands, resolve inventory-related issues that impact sales, and facilitate smooth progression through the sales cycle.

Cross-Departmental Coordination – You will coordinate with various departments including Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, and Aftersales teams. You will facilitate information sharing, align inventory activities with departmental needs, communicate stock status updates, coordinate vehicle movements, resolve operational challenges, and maintain effective collaboration across the organization.

Documentation and Reporting – You will maintain comprehensive inventory documentation, prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, track key inventory metrics including stock levels, turnover rates, and aging analysis, generate management reports, document inventory transactions, maintain audit trails, and provide management with accurate inventory insights for decision-making.

System Management and Data Entry – You will utilize inventory management systems and automotive DMS platforms, ensure accurate data entry of vehicle information, update system records promptly, generate system reports, maintain data integrity, troubleshoot system issues, and leverage technology to enhance inventory management efficiency and accuracy.

Communication and Stakeholder Management – You will maintain effective communication channels with internal teams and external stakeholders, provide inventory status updates to sales team, coordinate with suppliers regarding vehicle deliveries, communicate with transport companies, respond to inventory inquiries, and ensure timely and accurate information flow across all parties involved in the supply chain.

Problem Resolution – You will identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, address supply chain bottlenecks, troubleshoot vehicle tracking issues, coordinate solutions for inventory challenges, implement corrective actions, escalate critical issues appropriately, and ensure minimal disruption to sales operations through proactive problem-solving.

Requirements – Minimum 5 years of experience in Inventory Controller position in the automotive industry is mandatory. Bachelor's Degree required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook essential. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and automotive industry knowledge required.
