Job Overview: Hunter Foods is hiring an experienced Inventory Controller to support its expanding supply chain operations at the new greenfield facility in Dubai. This role is suited for detail-oriented professionals with strong stock control, compliance, and reporting experience, ideally in the food or FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities: The Inventory Controller will manage all aspects of stock control, including tracking inventory levels, reconciling discrepancies, and preparing accurate reports. They will work closely with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Stock Control & Accuracy: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise records of stock movements, monitoring warehouse inventory, and conducting cycle counts. Their role is to ensure data accuracy in ERP systems and provide timely reports for decision-making.
Reporting & Analysis: The Inventory Controller will generate regular inventory reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization. They will also identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and propose corrective measures.
Compliance & Standards: Ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and UAE standards is vital. The Inventory Controller must maintain accurate documentation for internal audits and external inspections.
Cross-functional Collaboration: The role requires collaboration with supply chain, production, and finance teams to align stock data with demand forecasts and production requirements. Effective communication will be crucial to ensure smooth operations across departments.
