Job Description
Role Overview: The Interior Fit-Out Project Manager / Engineer is responsible for overseeing the complete execution of interior fit-out projects in the UAE. This role combines project management and engineering expertise, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders effectively.
Project Planning & Coordination: This paragraph highlights the responsibility of developing detailed project schedules, timelines, and execution plans. The candidate will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely approvals for drawings, materials, and variations. Conducting project meetings, monitoring milestones, and adjusting schedules are key to successful project delivery.
Site Execution & Supervision: The Project Manager / Engineer oversees day-to-day site operations, ensuring that work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This involves supervising subcontractors and site teams, verifying measurements and layout markings, resolving technical or site issues, and maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with HSE regulations.
Technical Review & Documentation: Responsibilities include reviewing IFC drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings while coordinating with design teams to clarify discrepancies. The candidate will prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, inspection reports, method statements, site logs, and assist in handover documentation such as warranties and test reports.
Material Management & Procurement: The role involves preparing material requisitions, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely deliveries, inspecting and verifying materials for quality, tracking usage, and supporting cost control measures. Proper material management ensures that projects stay on schedule and maintain quality standards.
Quality Control: The candidate ensures that all interior fit-out works, including partitions, joinery, ceilings, flooring, painting, and MEP coordination, meet required standards. Responsibilities include identifying defects, following up on rectifications promptly, and maintaining high-quality workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
