Job Description

Role Overview – iFM Facilities Management L.L.C is hiring an experienced Store Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead store operations within the facilities management industry. This position is ideal for store management professionals who can oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, procurement coordination, and team management in a dynamic FM environment across the UAE.

Store Operations Management – You will lead and manage all store operations including receiving materials, issuing items, organizing inventory, managing stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, overseeing warehouse activities, ensuring proper storage conditions, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring efficient store operations that support facilities management projects and maintenance activities.

Inventory Control and Management – You will oversee comprehensive inventory management including stock monitoring, conducting regular stock counts, maintaining optimal inventory levels, implementing inventory control systems, tracking stock movements, preventing stock-outs and overstocking, coordinating replenishment, and ensuring accurate inventory records that support operational requirements and financial reporting.

Procurement Coordination – You will coordinate with procurement teams regarding material requirements, process purchase requisitions, communicate with vendors and suppliers, track order status, ensure timely delivery of materials, verify quality and quantities of received goods, manage supplier relationships, and support cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment for FM operations.

Team Leadership and Development – You will lead and develop the store team including storekeepers, inventory controllers, and warehouse staff. You will provide guidance and training, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, conduct evaluations, build team capabilities, ensure accountability, and foster a productive work environment that maintains high standards of store operations.

Materials Receiving and Issuance – You will oversee receiving operations including verification of deliveries against purchase orders, quality inspection, documentation of receipts, and proper storage allocation. You will manage issuance processes ensuring materials are distributed to authorized personnel with proper documentation, tracking consumption, and maintaining accurate issuance records.

Stock Organization and Storage – You will ensure systematic organization of store layout, implement efficient storage systems, maintain proper labeling and identification, ensure materials are stored under appropriate conditions, optimize space utilization, maintain cleanliness and order, implement safety protocols, and create accessible storage arrangements for various FM materials and equipment.

Documentation and Reporting – You will maintain accurate store records, prepare inventory reports, track stock movements and consumption patterns, generate management reports, document all transactions, maintain asset registers, prepare monthly reports on inventory status, material usage, and stock value, and provide management with timely information for decision-making.

Cost Control and Budget Management – You will monitor store-related expenses, implement cost control measures, minimize wastage and losses, optimize inventory carrying costs, track budget utilization, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to efficient financial management of store operations and inventory investments.

Compliance and Safety – You will ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. You will implement safety procedures in warehouse operations, conduct safety inspections, ensure proper handling of materials, maintain fire safety standards, coordinate with QHSE teams, and maintain a safe working environment in all store areas.

System and Technology Utilization – You will operate inventory management systems effectively, utilize ERP and warehouse management software, ensure accurate data entry, generate system reports, implement technological improvements, and leverage technology to enhance store efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Requirements – 8+ years of experience in store management, preferably within facilities management, construction, or related industries. Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, procurement processes, and materials management. Proven leadership abilities, team management experience, analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with inventory management systems essential. UAE experience preferred.
