Primary Care and Diagnosis: As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all age groups. This involves conducting medical examinations, diagnosing health issues, and recommending appropriate treatments while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction at all times.

Patient Management and Treatment: The GP will manage acute and chronic illnesses, prescribe medication, and create tailored treatment plans based on patients’ conditions. A focus on preventive healthcare, patient education, and long-term wellbeing will be central to this role.

Emergency and Acute Care: You will also be expected to handle emergency cases with efficiency, ensuring quick decision-making under pressure. From minor injuries to urgent medical conditions, the GP will act as the first point of contact to stabilize and guide patients to further specialist care if required.

Collaboration with Specialists: The GP will work closely with other healthcare professionals and specialists to ensure integrated care for patients. This includes coordinating referrals, discussing complex cases, and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings for patient-focused outcomes.

Medical Records and Compliance: Maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality, and adhering strictly to DHA regulations are vital responsibilities. You will be required to comply with all clinical governance standards, keep up-to-date with medical practices, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Community Health and Preventive Programs: The GP will also play an important role in community health awareness by participating in preventive care programs such as vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle consultations to encourage healthier living within the local population.
