Role Overview:

Paramount Zone LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Accountant to support its financial operations. The successful candidate will handle daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reconciliations, and support financial reporting to ensure reliable and timely accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Records: Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions and accounting entries. Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain organized financial documentation and supporting records.

Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform bank, supplier, customer, and account reconciliations. Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports. mReview financial records to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues. mSupport month-end and year-end closing activities.

Compliance & Administration: Assist with VAT documentation and applicable tax-related accounting requirements. Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and confidentially. Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions. Support audits by preparing relevant financial documents and reports.

Requirements Essential: Previous experience in general accounting or a similar accounting position. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures. Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Preferred: Familiarity with UAE VAT requirements and accounting practices.  Experience using ERP or computerized accounting systems. Knowledge of month-end closing and financial reporting procedures.
