Role Overview – Fresh Fruits Company We are seeking a dedicated General Accountant with strong UAE experience to support our growing finance team. This position is ideal for detail-oriented accounting professionals who value accuracy, ownership, and possess solid understanding of accounting fundamentals in UAE business environments.

Accounts Payable and Receivable Management – You will manage AP and AR functions including processing invoices, vendor payments, customer billing, payment collection, aging analysis, and maintaining accurate payables and receivables records. Your expertise ensures timely processing, proper documentation, and effective cash flow management.

Daily Financial Records Maintenance – You will maintain accurate daily financial records including transaction recording, journal entries, ledger updates, expense tracking, and ensuring all financial activities are properly documented and classified according to accounting standards and company policies.

Month-End and Year-End Support – You will support month-end and year-end closing activities including account reconciliations, adjusting entries, preparing closing schedules, assisting with financial statement preparation, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of closing processes.

Account Reconciliation and Compliance – You will reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger accounts regularly. You'll ensure compliance with internal controls, identify and resolve discrepancies, maintain proper documentation, and support audit requirements.

Audit and Financial Statement Support – You will assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor requests, providing supporting schedules, and participating in audit processes. You'll support preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.

Requirements – Proven UAE accounting experience with strong knowledge of AP and AR processes. Excellent command of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced formulas is essential. Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure are required.
