Role Overview: FortifyTrust is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Frontend & BI Engineer to develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces and transform business data into meaningful insights. This role combines frontend development with business intelligence, requiring a strong understanding of modern web technologies, data visualization, reporting, and performance optimization. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business teams to deliver reliable digital solutions and data-driven dashboards that support informed decision-making.

Frontend Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern frontend technologies. Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional, accessible, and visually consistent web applications. Build reusable components and maintain clean, scalable, and well-structured code. Test and troubleshoot frontend functionality across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

Business Intelligence & Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate business performance and key metrics. Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable BI solutions. Connect dashboards and frontend applications with relevant data sources, APIs, and backend services. Present complex datasets through clear visualizations that help stakeholders identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

Data Integration & Analysis:

Work with databases and SQL queries to retrieve, validate, and organize data for reporting and analysis. Integrate business intelligence tools with internal systems and applications to improve data accessibility. Perform data validation and troubleshoot discrepancies to maintain the accuracy and consistency of reports. Collaborate with relevant teams to improve data models, reporting workflows, and information delivery.

Performance, Testing & Maintenance:

Optimize frontend applications and dashboards for responsiveness, usability, and loading performance. nIdentify and resolve technical issues affecting application functionality, data accuracy, or visualization performance. Follow coding standards, version-control practices, and documentation procedures. Continuously improve existing interfaces and reports based on user feedback and evolving business requirements.

Team Collaboration:

Coordinate with designers, developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions. Participate in technical discussions, requirement gathering, testing, and solution planning. Document development processes, data definitions, dashboard logic, and relevant technical specifications. Stay updated on frontend development practices, BI technologies, and emerging data visualization techniques.

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. Practical experience in frontend development and building responsive web applications. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Experience developing dashboards, reports, or interactive data visualizations. Understanding of REST APIs, data integration, debugging, and application performance optimization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality work within agreed timelines.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with BI platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or comparable reporting tools. Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, data transformation, and KPI reporting. Knowledge of TypeScript, Git, automated testing, and frontend build tools. Understanding of dashboard usability, data storytelling, and visualization best practices. Experience working in Agile development environments.
