Role Overview: The Floor Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily front-of-house operations in a high-end hospitality environment. This includes managing service staff, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth workflow between all restaurant departments.
Customer Experience: You will be expected to maintain a welcoming and professional environment by proactively managing guest interactions and handling complaints with empathy and efficiency. Your focus will be to deliver exceptional service that exceeds guest expectations.
Staff Supervision: As Floor Manager, you will supervise waiters, hosts, and support staff to ensure everyone is operating according to company standards. You will also assist in scheduling, performance reviews, and team motivation to foster a high-performance culture.
Operational Duties: You will ensure smooth day-to-day floor operations, including managing shift handovers, assigning tables, verifying cleanliness, managing reservations, and coordinating with the kitchen and bar for timely service delivery.
Training & Compliance: You are expected to train and guide new hires, enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure that all team members follow health and safety, food hygiene, and quality control regulations.
Problem Solving & Reporting: Quick thinking and effective problem-solving skills are essential in this role. You will handle operational issues as they arise and report daily shift summaries and performance KPIs to the Restaurant Manager.
