Position Overview: The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategies by providing deep insights into performance metrics, budgeting, and forecasting. This position demands a professional who thrives in a dynamic business environment, can interpret complex data, and supports leadership with actionable financial recommendations that align with PSI’s long-term growth objectives.
Core Responsibilities: The FP&A Specialist will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving financial models to support business decisions. This includes preparing detailed financial reports, analyzing revenue trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing accurate forecasts. The role requires close collaboration with different departments to ensure financial goals are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
Strategic Financial Analysis: The selected candidate will conduct in-depth analysis to identify performance gaps, evaluate potential business opportunities, and enhance profitability. This role involves presenting clear insights to management regarding capital investment, operational efficiency, and overall business performance, enabling informed decision-making at the executive level.
Budgeting and Forecasting: A key aspect of the position involves leading the annual budgeting process and creating rolling forecasts that reflect market trends and internal performance indicators. The FP&A Specialist will ensure that all financial projections are accurate, transparent, and in alignment with the organization’s business strategy.
Collaboration and Reporting: The candidate will work closely with accounting, sales, and operations teams to collect financial data and generate comprehensive reports for senior management. The ability to communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner is essential, as the reports produced will directly influence strategic business planning and financial outcomes.
Process Improvement and Compliance: The FP&A Specialist will play an active role in improving internal financial systems and processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and UAE financial regulations. This includes implementing automation tools where possible to streamline reporting and improve data accuracy.
