Project Estimation Responsibilities: As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for joinery projects, including furniture, cabinetry, and interior fit-outs. Your role will involve analyzing technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements to prepare detailed quotations that align with project budgets and timelines.

Tender and Proposal Management: You will manage tender documentation, prepare bids, and ensure all submitted proposals meet both client expectations and company profitability targets. This includes coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to collect updated material and labor costs.

Client Communication and Liaison: In this role, you will frequently interact with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify project specifications, provide cost insights, and support negotiations. Maintaining professionalism and building trust with stakeholders will be key to securing successful project awards.

Technical Analysis and Cost Control: You will carry out a thorough technical evaluation of joinery works, ensuring material choices, finishes, and designs comply with project standards. Your ability to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality will add value to both the client and company.

Collaboration with Engineering & Design Teams: As part of your job, you will closely coordinate with the design and engineering teams to align technical drawings with estimated costs. By reviewing CAD drawings and BOQs, you will ensure estimates are realistic and achievable during project execution.

Documentation and Reporting: You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date records of quotations, supplier pricing, and tender submissions. Preparing cost comparison reports, tracking material fluctuations, and updating management on estimation progress will form part of your daily tasks.
