Job Description
Role Overview: This position is designed for individuals who are looking to begin or strengthen their career within the engineering estimation field. As an Estimation Engineer, you will be deeply involved in supporting project costing, analyzing technical data, and assisting the team in securing competitive tenders. This role offers strong learning exposure and consistent opportunities for skill development.
Estimation Support: You will assist in preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, and ensuring all BOQs are compiled accurately. Your role involves studying project drawings, technical specifications, and engineering requirements to produce reliable estimates that contribute to the company’s bidding success.
Technical Analysis: This responsibility includes analyzing material specifications, reviewing labor and equipment requirements, and coordinating with various departments to ensure accuracy. You will develop a strong understanding of rate breakdowns, engineering standards, and industry benchmarks as part of your daily tasks.
Supplier Coordination: You will play an active role in communicating with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to collect competitive quotations. Building relationships with external partners will be essential to delivering cost-effective solutions and ensuring timely tender submissions.
Proposal Development: In this area, you will support the preparation of commercial and technical proposals, ensuring that all submissions comply with client requirements. You will collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary inputs and maintain clear documentation throughout the proposal process.
Project Collaboration: This part of the role involves working closely with the procurement, technical, and project teams to ensure smooth coordination. You will assist in maintaining updated costing records, monitoring project databases, and ensuring all estimation-related information is well organized and accessible.
