Job Description
Technical Support and System Maintenance: Crystal Solutions Ltd. is hiring Desktop Support Engineers for their client, a leading IT company in Dubai. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining system infrastructure.
Hardware and Software Troubleshooting and Maintenance: The IT Support Engineer will diagnose and resolve problems with hardware, software, or network connectivity, and maintain, upgrade, and install hardware and software as needed.
Network Troubleshooting and Configuration: The role requires experience with advanced troubleshooting of wireless and data networks (LAN/WAN), and network cabling and setup.
Server Administration and Configuration: The IT Support Engineer will have knowledge of installing and configuring Active Directory (AD), DNS, and DHCP on servers.
Storage and Virtualization Technologies: The role involves knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies, and operating system installation and configuration (Windows Server, VMware, Windows HyperV, Veeam, Acronis).
Firewall Management: The IT Support Engineer will install, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, including Fortinet, Sonicwall, and Sophos UTMs, and implement security policies.
Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills, are essential for this role.
