Data Management Responsibilities: The Data Entry Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date company records, ensuring that all data related to food distribution operations is correctly entered into internal systems. The role requires a high level of precision, organization, and accountability to manage large volumes of daily transactions.
Database Accuracy and Maintenance: You will play a vital part in ensuring the integrity of company databases by regularly verifying information, cross-checking entries, and identifying discrepancies. The officer must maintain consistency between CRM records, sales logs, and inventory reports, ensuring that every detail aligns with operational standards.
Operational Coordination: This role involves close collaboration with logistics, warehouse, and sales departments to collect and input key operational data. By maintaining seamless coordination, the Data Entry Officer will help streamline communication between departments and support timely reporting for management decisions.
Analytical Support and Reporting: The successful candidate will assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports based on collected data. This includes compiling figures related to deliveries, stock levels, and sales performance, allowing managers to make informed operational and financial decisions.
System and Software Proficiency: The role requires proficiency in Excel and CRM tools, as these are essential for recording, sorting, and analyzing business data. You will be expected to use spreadsheets effectively, create formulas for analysis, and ensure data accuracy through automated checks and manual reviews.
Quality Control and Compliance: The Data Entry Officer will adhere to strict quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy. The position also requires compliance with internal company policies and industry regulations related to food distribution data management.
