Role Overview – As a Data Entry Clerk, your main responsibility will be to manage accurate input of financial data into the company’s systems. You will work closely with the accounting department to ensure all figures are correctly entered, verified, and reconciled. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
Data Accuracy and Documentation – The position involves collecting, verifying, and entering data from invoices, receipts, and other financial documents into company databases. You will also be responsible for maintaining proper documentation, organizing digital records, and ensuring that all accounting information remains secure, confidential, and easily accessible when needed.
Collaboration and Support – You’ll work alongside our finance and administrative teams to support internal operations. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability as you will assist in preparing reports, performing basic reconciliations, and ensuring all financial entries align with company standards.
Technical Proficiency and Systems Knowledge – The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic accounting software. Experience using ERP systems will be an added advantage. You will be expected to maintain consistency in data handling and contribute to process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency in daily accounting operations.
