Customer Engagement and Retail Excellence: As a Counter Salesman / Saleswoman, you will be the welcoming face of our client’s roastery store, ensuring every customer feels valued and leaves with a smile. You’ll be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience, providing knowledgeable assistance about our products, and offering tailored recommendations that meet customer preferences. Your friendly demeanor and communication skills will create a warm and inviting store atmosphere.
Product Presentation and Store Maintenance: You’ll play a vital role in showcasing a premium range of freshly roasted nuts and exotic spices. Maintaining clean, organized, and visually appealing displays will be key to attracting customers and maximizing sales. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of presentation, regularly rotating stock, ensuring freshness, and adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Sales Growth and Customer Retention: Beyond selling, you’ll focus on building long-term relationships with customers. You’ll develop a deep understanding of customer preferences, engage in suggestive selling, and help increase the store’s profitability through upselling and cross-selling techniques. Your ability to remember regular customers and their tastes will help foster brand loyalty and repeat business.
Team Collaboration and Performance Goals: You will work alongside a dynamic retail team, contributing to daily and monthly sales targets. Collaboration and communication are key — you’ll support your teammates, share product knowledge, and maintain a positive work environment. Working together, the team will aim to exceed store goals and deliver outstanding service every single day.
Operational Efficiency and Inventory Management: As part of your responsibilities, you’ll help track stock levels, report shortages, and assist in regular inventory checks. Ensuring the right quantities of products are available at all times helps keep store operations running smoothly. You’ll also support the replenishment process to minimize downtime and maximize availability for customers.
Customer Service and Brand Ambassadorship: You’ll act as a brand ambassador, representing the company’s quality standards and commitment to excellence. Handling customer inquiries, resolving minor complaints, and ensuring every visitor enjoys their experience will be a crucial part of your day. Your professionalism and enthusiasm will reflect positively on the company’s brand reputation.
