Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collection Officer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This role is crucial for maintaining healthy cash flow and ensuring timely payments from our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, contacting customers regarding outstanding payments, and negotiating payment plans. This position requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of collection practices.


The Collection Officer will also be responsible for accurately documenting all collection activities, maintaining updated customer records, and preparing reports on collection progress. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently are essential. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and who possess a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving collection targets.

Key responsibilities of the Collection Officer include contacting customers via phone, email, and other methods to follow up on overdue payments. They will also be responsible for negotiating payment arrangements with customers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Collection Officer will need to accurately record all collection activities and maintain detailed customer records. Analyzing customer payment history and identifying potential risks will also be a part of the role.


We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in collections or customer service is a plus, but not required for fresh graduates. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as is a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
