Job Description
Role Overview: The Banking Sales Officer will play a vital role in driving business growth by promoting Islamic banking products to potential and existing clients. This position requires a proactive, customer-oriented professional who understands the financial needs of clients and provides them with the most suitable credit card and personal finance solutions.
Client Relationship Management: In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term customer relationships. You’ll engage with clients through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and digital communication to identify their financial requirements and offer the right products. Maintaining strong rapport and trust will be key to ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Goals: As part of the sales team, you will focus on achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets. You’ll use your persuasive communication skills and deep product knowledge to maximize revenue while ensuring compliance with Islamic banking principles and internal procedures. Consistency, focus, and performance-driven effort will define your success.
Product Knowledge and Presentation: You will develop expert-level knowledge of the bank’s credit card and personal finance offerings. You’ll confidently explain product features, benefits, and eligibility criteria to clients, ensuring they fully understand how these financial solutions can support their needs. A professional and persuasive presentation style will help you stand out in this competitive market.
Team Collaboration and Reporting: Working closely with your team and management, you’ll participate in strategy meetings, share client feedback, and contribute to refining sales approaches. Your reports on leads, conversions, and market insights will assist leadership in decision-making and long-term planning. Collaboration will be at the heart of success in this role.
Customer Focus and Integrity: Upholding the bank’s reputation is crucial. You’ll be expected to handle every interaction with professionalism and honesty. Providing accurate information, respecting client confidentiality, and following ethical sales practices will be key values. Delivering outstanding customer service will help you gain client loyalty and strengthen the bank’s brand image.
