Role Overview The Assistant Transport and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing fleet operations and vehicle maintenance activities across UAE project locations. This role requires strong operational leadership, technical knowledge of heavy vehicles, and the ability to manage transport efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Fleet Operations Management The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising daily transport operations, ensuring timely vehicle availability and optimized routing. The candidate will monitor fleet utilization, fuel efficiency, and driver performance to maintain operational effectiveness.

Maintenance & Workshop Control The candidate will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manage workshop operations, and ensure vehicles are maintained to high safety and performance standards. Coordination with mechanics, vendors, and spare-parts suppliers is a key responsibility.

Compliance & Safety Oversight The role requires ensuring all fleet activities comply with UAE transport regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. The candidate will implement safety checks, documentation controls, and compliance audits to minimize operational risks.

Team Leadership The Assistant Manager will supervise drivers, workshop staff, and transport coordinators, ensuring productivity, discipline, and performance standards are maintained. The role includes scheduling, performance monitoring, and operational guidance.

Operational Reporting The candidate will prepare transport and maintenance reports, analyze breakdown trends, track costs, and recommend efficiency improvements to management. Strong reporting and data interpretation skills are essential.
