Role Overview – Gulf Group Holding Company (LLC) is seeking experienced retail professionals for Assistant Branch Manager positions in Ras Al Khaimah. These opportunities are ideal for candidates with strong hypermarket or grocery retail experience who are ready to advance their careers and contribute to our growing retail operations.

Operations Support and Execution – You will support the Branch Manager in daily operations, oversee specific operational areas, ensure smooth workflow, supervise staff activities, manage floor operations, coordinate departments, handle operational challenges, implement company procedures, and ensure branch operates efficiently during all business hours.

Department Supervision – You will supervise specific departments or sections within the branch including grocery, fresh produce, meat, bakery, or non-food sections. You will monitor department performance, ensure product quality, maintain stock levels, oversee staff in assigned areas, implement merchandising standards, and achieve department sales targets.

Staff Supervision and Training – You will supervise frontline staff including cashiers, sales associates, stockers, and department staff. You will assign duties, monitor performance, provide on-the-job training, address staff issues, ensure adherence to procedures, maintain discipline, and support team productivity and service quality.

Customer Service Management – You will handle customer service issues and complaints, resolve problems effectively, ensure customer satisfaction, monitor service quality on the floor, support staff in customer interactions, implement service standards, and maintain positive customer experiences throughout the branch.

Inventory and Merchandising Support – You will support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, coordinating stock replenishment, conducting stock counts, implementing stock rotation, ensuring product freshness and quality, managing product displays, and maintaining proper merchandising standards.

Cash and Financial Operations – You will oversee cash operations including cash register management, cash handling procedures, daily cash reconciliation, banking deposits, petty cash management, ensuring accurate financial transactions, preventing losses, and maintaining financial controls.

Sales and Promotion Execution – You will implement sales promotions and campaigns, set up promotional displays, communicate offers to customers, train staff on promotions, monitor promotion effectiveness, drive promotional sales, and support achievement of sales targets through effective promotion execution.

Branch Coverage and Flexibility – You will provide coverage for the Branch Manager during absences, manage branch independently when required, handle escalated issues, make operational decisions, coordinate with head office, ensure continuity of operations, and demonstrate capability to step into senior management role.

Compliance and Standards – You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, company policies, retail procedures, and quality standards. You will conduct safety checks, maintain proper documentation, implement company directives, and uphold operational standards.
