Job Description

Job Overview: As an Accounts Assistant cum Administrator at Oasis Advisory, you will play a vital role in managing both accounting operations and administrative coordination within our IT Solutions division. This hybrid position requires someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and efficient in handling daily financial transactions while ensuring the smooth flow of office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge and administrative skills to support our growing business needs in Dubai.

Responsibilities and Duties: Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with month-end and year-end financial closings. You will also handle administrative functions such as coordinating with suppliers, managing office documentation, and supporting the HR and operations teams with routine tasks.

Financial Management and Reporting: You will assist the finance department with data entry, journal postings, and preparation of management reports. A strong grasp of UAE VAT regulations is crucial for timely filing and compliance. You will also help prepare profit and loss summaries, expense reports, and ensure all accounting transactions align with company policies and local laws.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and Tally is required for this role. You will be expected to generate financial statements, manage ledgers, and process transactions using these tools efficiently. A working knowledge of Excel and cloud-based recordkeeping will further support your success in this position.

Administrative Coordination: Beyond accounting duties, you will oversee administrative operations including office inventory management, vendor communication, and coordination of internal meetings. You will also assist with travel bookings, document filing, and basic HR documentation to ensure an organized and professional office environment.

Team Collaboration: You will work closely with the finance manager, auditors, and other departments to ensure timely reporting and operational efficiency. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you’ll frequently interact with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to support daily business functions.
