Role Overview – Finisya Hospitality Solutions is hiring an Accounting Executive for a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE. This position is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with strong hospitality sector knowledge, technical accounting skills, and the ability to manage financial operations, client accounting, financial reporting, and compliance within a hospitality solutions and technology services environment.

General Ledger and Financial Accounting – You will manage general ledger and financial accounting by recording and posting financial transactions, maintaining the chart of accounts, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing accounting cycles, and ensuring all financial data is accurate, complete, and compliant with IFRS and UAE accounting standards.

Accounts Payable and Receivable Management – You will manage accounts payable and receivables by processing supplier invoices for software licenses, services, and operations, verifying payment accuracy, tracking customer payments and client billing, managing aging reports, following up on outstanding receivables, coordinating with clients on payment schedules, and ensuring timely settlement of financial obligations.

Client and Project Accounting – You will manage client and project accounting by tracking revenue and costs per client or project, allocating expenses to specific hospitality clients and implementations, monitoring project budgets, analyzing project profitability, managing deferred revenue for software subscriptions, ensuring accurate revenue recognition for services and licenses, and providing financial insights on client and project performance.

Financial Reporting and Analysis – You will prepare financial reports and analysis by consolidating financial data, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conducting variance analysis, analyzing revenue and expense trends, preparing management accounts, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Month-End and Year-End Close – You will manage month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring all transactions are recorded, preparing accruals and prepayments, reconciling balance sheet accounts, closing accounting periods, meeting reporting deadlines, and ensuring timely, accurate financial close.

Bank Reconciliation and Cash Management – You will perform bank reconciliations and cash management by matching bank statements with company records, investigating discrepancies, resolving variances, monitoring cash flow, preparing cash forecasts, and ensuring accurate tracking of all banking transactions.

VAT and Tax Compliance – You will handle UAE VAT and tax compliance by maintaining VAT records, preparing VAT returns, ensuring invoices comply with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations, coordinating with tax consultants, managing VAT on software and services transactions, and supporting the company during tax audits or inspections.

Revenue Recognition and Deferred Revenue – You will manage revenue recognition by applying appropriate accounting policies for software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, implementation services, and maintenance contracts, managing deferred revenue accounting, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15, and coordinating revenue accounting with contracts and billing teams.

Budgeting and Forecasting Support – You will support budgeting and forecasting by assisting with budget preparation, preparing financial forecasts, conducting budget variance analysis, monitoring actual performance against budgets, and providing financial planning insights to management.
